We are officially in crunch time, and this picture sums it up incredibly well. Every single kiln here at Penland is currently being fired or being loaded - I think there are something like 6 kilns going at once!I've finished up in the flame working studio and am trying to get out of Metals. I'm mostly there in the early mornings (though not this morning as I've been packing a box for shipping) and late evenings. I'm leaving the studio about 11:30 in the evenings.
I've got a lot to post, but need to find some time.

ReplyDeleteJust randomly found your blog. After brief check, I realized that you have such a wide range of interests. I mean, after reading couple of posts I’m still don’t know what are those kilns for. Are they for some clay crafting or what? However, maybe it’s just me, I had similar issues with understanding of reviews on EssayJedi. In addition, I want to thank you for post about GeekGirlCon. I never knew about it before. My girlfriend is very interested in it.
